Czech and Slovak Club. I was excited about this venue. I thought good beers, alcohol
absorbing food and fine football all with what I'd been told was a very
passionate bunch of supporters.
What I didn't take into account was
that this club is closed Mondays, any Monday, even those Monday's that
come around every four years, when your countrymen get to play in the
World Cup Finals.
Naturally I shall return for another game on another
day

I read there was to be a big Czech party at a bar called The Green Man in central London. I went along at 5 on Saturday and it was all closed up! I ended up going to a pub up the road, with one Czech man there. I watched his bag when he went to the toilet. It was quite uneventful.
