In the next few weeks we've been asked to speak at a couple of interesting conferences.
First up is Brands Bands and Audiences; which, as well as having one of the best conference titles ever, has a really interesting speaker list. The must hear is the keynote from Tony Wilson - the man behind seminal music label Factory Records and the Hacienda as well as being the main mover behind the In the City music conferences.
Given how music content is driving so much of the current momentum in new channels (mobile, iPods and even MySpace) looking at how brands can get involved is very topical.
Later in June we're speaking at the Mobile Marketing Summit, along with some of the key players in mobile marketing. Our schtick is How do we turn dreams into reality - a look at what is needed for mobile to become a major advertising medium. Again, this event should be very topical.
