Mobile internet used by half of 20/24 year olds

New research from the BMRB Internet Monitor shows that 49% of UK 20 - 24 year olds have used their mobile to go online - a 21% increase since the previous round of research. And 21% of all Internet users used their mobile to go online - up from 16%

We think there is a bit of chicken and egg here - people want to use their mobiles to access content, but the content is still limited.

Companies like our client Refresh are helping drive use of mobiles through their innovative mobizines for people such as ITV, and we expect more innovation in this area - which obviously opens the door for advertisers to get involved - and mobile operator 3 are now seeking brands to experiment with mobile advertising - just like us!
